In this unit we will be learning the following:

Interpretive-Students will be able to comprehend while listening to information
about likes and dislikes.
Presentational-Students will be able to express orally and in writing what
activities they and others like and dislike.
Culture-Students will be able to identify different types of dances in
Spanish speaking countries.
Connections- Students will be able to identify cognates while reading to
improve comprehension.
Comparisons: Students will be able to compare infinitive verbs in
Spanish and English to gain a deeper understanding of both language structures.
Communities: Students will create advertisements for the Hispanic
Heritage Fiesta to advertise activities one likes and can participate in.
We are on a modified schedule so this unit will extend into next week.
