Weather Unit 10/8-10/16

It's time to learn about the weather.

• Students will learn to talk about the weather.
• Students will read and listen to interpret weather related discussions and reading selections.
• Students will present information about weather and hold conversations about the weather.

Revision to body unit

The body unit test will take place on Monday to allow for additional review. Students will be assessed on listening, reading and writing.
We will begin weather on Tuesday. Students will receive vocabulary on Monday following the unit test.

Words to discuss how you feel

This week we will study words to discuss how we feel. We will learn to talk about feeling sick, aches, and pains. We will also learn to ask how someone feels and tell them they should go to see a doctor or nurse. Click vocabulary link  for vocabulary (yellow highlighted vocabulary is very critical)

We will have a test over this unit on Thursday. 
Friday we will have a mini unit on Weather.

Students are writing a short story about creatures they create. They will record themselves reading them and it will be turned into a fun video.
