Student Learning Objective Pretest!

We will be taking our Pre-test for the Student Learning Objective test on Monday and Tuesday 8/17-8/18. It is important that students be present on these days to avoid makeup sessions that would interfere with their class time.

Please note the unit 2 test will be postponed until Wednesday 8/19/15.

Week 2 Unit 2

We will begin our next unit on Greetings and courtesy expressions on Wednesday after the test.
The objectives for this unit are as follows:

MLI.IP1 The students exchange simple spoken and written information in the target language, utilizing cultural references where appropriate.
The students: A. Use basic greetings, farewells, and expressions of courtesy, in both oral and written forms.

For the first part of the unit we will cover the vocabulary for greetings, goodbyes and courtesy
 expressions. The following section of vocabulary is what students are responsible for:

There will be a quiz that includes listening and reading  with matching responses.

Students will have homework for this unit that goes beyond studying. Please make sure students are studying. You have to study. Make flashcards, use quizlet, and read over the notes.

Create a photostory fashion show,
Your should start with the name of your show.
It should relate to the theme/concept.
Add music from photostory or soundzabound.
Example "Villanos de Disney" Invierno.

Include 5 pictures with a description of each outfit.
 The description should include

Students are learning to discuss the house and chores. Students are also learning to give tu commands and the present participle (ing).
